I AM WOMAN

I AM WOMAN, because God dreamend, designed and "knit me together in my mother's womb" (Psalm 139:13) as a woman!

I AM NOT divine, but I was divinely created by God in His own image! (Genesis 1:27)

I AM NOT unbeatable, I have limits, for I am a finite human being. BUT God is infinite, He is almighty, He is unbeatable, He is GOD from everlasting to everlasting! (Psalm 90)

I CAN BE fearless, not by myself, but only with and through God, because HE has not given me "a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and self-discipline"! (2Timothy 1:7)

I DON'T HAVE TO be sexy to be beautiful or even desirable, rather what makes me unfading beautiful is my "inner self" transformed by God, my whole life in His hands, and "a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight"! (1 Peter 3:4)

I AM NOT masculine, because that's characteristic of MAN!

I AM FEMENINE, not because I wear floral dresses or hair ties (even if I love to), but because I was designed as female, as femenine in essence, and through that reflect the image and Glory of God! (Ephesians 1:6)

I DO NOT move in my own timing, because... "Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?" (Matthew 6:27)

I DON'T HAVE TO feel what I want, nor follow my heart, nor be the beat of my own drum, because "The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?" God is the one who "searches the heart and examines the mind" (Jeremiah 17:9)

I CAN BE anything I want, BUT if I choose to reflect God's image, if I accept my womanhood as created and designed by God, for something greater, I will definitely find joy, peace and real meaning, living the way I was made to live, being who I was made to be, walking in the truthful path I was made to walk!

Don't ever let songs, people, movies, ideologies, books, or whatever, tell you who you are, or how you should behave, talk, dress, because they are quite far away from the truth.

Your worth and value are found in the One who designed and created you! If you want to know who you are and what it is like to be WOMAN, then look to God, look to His Word, and you'll find truth, freedom, peace and real joy!

P.S. YES, this is a direct criticism of Emmy Meli's song "I AM WOMAN"! Since the first time I had the unpleasantness of listening to that song, all I could listen to were lies after lies!
